Code Wizards expansion into Birmingham is huge success

Following the continued expansion of Code Wizards based in Reading, it’s six months since they recently opened a Midlands sales office based at Alpha Works in central Birmingham and they have already become well established within the city.

Established in 2002, Code Wizards quickly established themselves as specialists in web based digital architecture by mixing invention with engineering to help businesses automatically scale their business.

Their Birmingham office is headed up Mark McKeever to help drive new sales in both the Midlands and London.

Mark is well known within the digital industry and brings a wealth of sales and management experience with him.

He commented, “I am delighted to be running the Birmingham operation, particularly with the continued growth that Code Wizards are experiencing.

“Our teams of digital engineers are more than capable of maintaining a level of enthusiasm and intensity to fully deliver the ‘boring’ back-end and integration elements of video gaming!

“We really are the catalyst to link developers and publishers into retailers, sales channels and stores, and we can determine client key priorities to help them monetise their products.

Stuart Muckley, managing director of Code Wizards commented, “I have known Mark for many years and he is already opening up new doors and clients for us, as we knew he would.

“Here at Code Wizards we enable clients to be able to engage in both games and esports with our unique understanding of the sector and how to build and integrate esports and third party products such as Game Sparks and server management.

“Our latest roll-out is a brand new esports platform for University students throughout the UK in time for this year’s students, nse.gg.

“The platform has been created for the newly formed company National Student Esports (NSE) a member of The Benchmark Sport Group, which runs traditional sports businesses such as the Square Mile Relay and Beyond Sport, which promotes social change through sport.”

By integrating games into ‘backend’ services Code Wizards can work with clients to develop analytics, payment gateways, multiplayer with high volume scaling, communication channels, (including Email, Push, SMS, Discord and Chat) and streaming.

Future aaspirations for the firm also include the provision of crypto currency and contract facilities in games and gaming.
